The Transport Industries Skills Centre (TISC) is a “not-for-profit”, Registered Training Organisation (RTO) specialising in the transport and motor vehicle driving industry.
Officially formed in 1991 to offer transport industry training to individuals and companies, its core mission is to promote, develop and provide driver education systems and programs to service a skilled and flexible workforce in the ACT and South East Region of NSW.
Located at the Sutton Road Training Centre in the ACT, TISC is an industry leader in driver and transport related training and excels in the provision of quality vocational education and training. Delivery of our training programs is innovative, forward looking and responsive to our clients’ changing environment. As an RTO, we provide all of our training and assessment services to the highest national standards. These national standards are set and audited by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). ASQA is the national regulator for Australia’s vocational and education training sector.
The Mission of Transport Industries Skills Centre training and assessment activity is to promote and develop a safer and more effective driver education system and to provide a skilled and flexible workforce for our target industries in the ACT and South East Region of NSW.
The Transport Industries Skills Centre will be an industry leader in the delivery of quality vocational education and training, and will be innovative, forward looking, responsive to our clients and to our changing environment, and relevant to all sectors of industry.
