The aim of the Defensive Driving Course is to provide the skills, knowledge and attitude to drivers in improving their awareness of the risks associated with driving. It will also provide them with the capability essential to the safe and efficient use of a motor vehicle.
All applicants must hold a current driver's licence (Probationary Licences are acceptable) and will be required to produce the
licence on the day of the course.
Drivers of all types of vehicles will benefit from this program. Anyone who drives a motor vehicle either as part of
a company fleet or for personal use, should undertake this type of course.
Road crashes are the most common cause of work-related deaths, injuries and absence
from work in Australia. These crashes are more likely than any other type of
work-related accident to result in death or permanent disability. If you or
your organisation is serious about minimising this type of risk and ensuring
you get best return for your training dollar then this course is for you.
Public courses of this type are normally run on weekends and do not include the
supply of a vehicle, TISC can design courses that meet organisational requirements
and can be delivered throughout the year. Discounts can be provided for larger
groups. Course duration is normally one day. For information on organisational
based courses and pricing
